Vice President Al Gore released the first major upgrade of the “Welcome to the White House: An Interactive Citizens’ Handbook” on Jan 19, 1996. The CIIR worked with the White House to provide searching of the White House sites --- access to “the virtual library” – archive of audio recordings and photographs; ….and much more.
