CIIR doctoral student Alireza Salemi and Associate Director Hamed Zamani, Associate Professor of CICS, introduce a method to to evaluate the reliability of AI-generated searches. Their published research, which received the ACM SIGIR 2024 Best Short Paper Award, is highlighted in a UMass Amherst article, "Who (or what) searches the search engines of the future?"
